Our Process
When working for Commercial and Residential General Contractors and not directly for the client, the process is different than stated below.
In those projects and situations where we are the subcontractor, we adhere to the general contractor’s process.
Bison Builders will never step away from bringing the best quality workmanship and customer service we know how. We strive to make the process as stress and hassle free as possible.

Stage 1: Initial Inquiry
The first step of the process begins with the initial inquiry from the client through the
form on our website, by
email, or a simple
phone call.
The more information you’re able to provide, the better equipped we’ll be to respond to your inquiry.
Once submitted, a member of our team will contact you in a minimum of 3-5 business days.
During the high season, please note that due to the volume of requests responses may be subject to delay.

Stage 2: Evaluation of Request
Once Bison Builders receives your inquiry, we’ll evaluate the proposed project and advise you whether we think we’re a good fit.
Regrettably, factors such as location, budget, scope of work and the volume of requests we receive means we can’t provide quotes on every proposal or accept every job that comes our way.
However, we’re happy to provide some advice to help you find the team that’s right for you.

Stage 3: Site Visit, Initial Meet Up, Site Measure
To provide the initial estimate, we require you, our customer to be available to visit the proposed project site, and work with you to gather all the information required for the estimating process.

Stage 4: Estimating the Job
We will work with the information received to give you an estimate for the work and a detailed schedule to make the vision come to life.
Bison Builders is a local based company, we work with local subcontractors to provide us with initial quotes for pricing. We hire subcontractors to handle certain scopes out of Bison Builders toolbox.
We will do our best to give you the best product available to fit inside your budget, If the estimate is approved, we move forward to the next step. During the high season, please note that estimating the job may be subject to delay.

Stage 5: Contract
When the estimate is approved by the client, Bison Builders drafts a contract for both parties to sign, upon which a deposit will be collected and at this time you will be introduced to the project lead.
Once the permits have been approved by the city, if need be, materials secured, and client is ready we will then commence construction on the date stipulated in the contract.

Stage 6: Construction Process
Every project requires its own unique considerations and approach, but most residential concrete projects can expect the order of operation to be:
